Prices for Birth Control Pills
Student health centers across the country no longer qualify for discount prices on brand name birth control pills. Prices for birth control pills are doubling and tripling at most student health centers due to a complex changes in the Medicaid rebate law which essentially ends an incentive for drug companies to provide deep discounts to colleges and universities (Title VI Subtitle A of the Deficit Reduction Act of 2005).
Student Health Services at Radford University is committed to offering affordable birth control pills to our students and will begin switching to generic birth control pills:
